Everyone Has Vision
You Do Have Vision
Sometimes people say, “I don’t have a vision. I’m just not that type of person.” But that is a lie from the devil himself. You do have a vision. So, even if you’re sitting there shaking you’re head or second-guessing, we’re telling you, you do have a vision.
Types Of Vision
There are actually eight types of vision, and six are spiritual.
1. Dream of Vision in the Night
2. Trance Vision
3. Vision Casting
4. Spontaneous Vision
5. Open Eyes Vision
6. Eyesight Vision
7. Vision Statement
8. Seers Vision
When we’re talking about spiritual vision, we’re talking about belief or idea that’s engaging the limbic side of the brain. And when we cast vision, its more of a vision statement. If you don’t believe you don’t have a vision, it’s a lie. You do have a vision, but you might not believe in it.
Why Vision Is Important
A vision is the bigger picture. And creating a compelling vision is one of the most effective strategies for achieving the life of your dreams.
You have to have a big vision and take very small steps to get there. You have to be humble as you execute but visionary and gigantic in terms of your aspiration. – Jason Calacanis
Perhaps the best way to look at the concept of vision is as a compass to help guide you to take the best actions and make the right choices that help propel you toward your best life.
Figuring Out Your Vision
Reflect on the idea that maybe the world has told us to go to school, get good grades, get a job, and play it safe. There’s nothing wrong with that safe lifestyle.
But the idea that you don’t have a vision and it’s not something for you is wrong. We’re challenging you and saying that you have had a vision over the years. You just haven’t acted on it or formalized it. You haven’t chased after it.
Saying “I don’t have a vision” is not true. You bring value to the world. You empower people with your words; you are an influencer in the marketplace. You do have a vision.
Our vision doesn’t change as much as we might think it does. Our vision, dreams, and goals are often deeply ingrained within us and our values. Having a vision allows us to get more clarity around our future and what we want to get out of it – whether that’s in the next month, year, or five years.
If you want to build out that vision, we can work with you to formalize it into a vision statement. It’s inside of you. You have a vision; you just need to work it.
